DESCRIPTION:BWMYC Easter Cruise \nGood Friday 2nd of April to Easter Monday 4th of April \nAll members are invited to participate at this annual club event \n  \nTHE BWMYC EASTER CLUB MOORING CRUISE \n  \n\n2nd April meet 1:30pm Joe Crafts Bay\n2nd April meet 2:15 pm Brooklyn\nCruise to America’s Bay\n3rd April Americas Bay to Spencer – Thai dinner\n4th April Spencer to Joe Crafts Bay\n\nPlease note we need to know numbers to be able to prebook a table for the Thai Dinner at Spencer. \nRSVP by 18/03/2021 rsvp@bwmyc.com.au \nThis year we will go to multiple destinations which will give you an opportunity to give your boat a good run and to enjoy the company of your club mates at multiple raft ups. \nWe will travel in Convoy at slow speed so everybody can keep up with the group and there is plenty of time to take in the unique scenery of our beautiful waterways. \nSome of you may just want to come to one or two destinations. \nJust make sure you have appropriate ropes and fenders ready when approaching the raft aft and call in on UHF radio Channel 72 for directions. \nIf you are not confident in rafting up but would like to give it a go\, there will be help at hand to guide you through the process. \nCall in on UHF 72 and let us know that you would like assistance. \nThe Cruise will go from Joe Crafts Bay to our Club mooring at Americas Bay. \nWe start our journey from Joe Crafts Bay at 1:30 pm and Brooklyn based Club Members \nwill have the opportunity to join the convoy at approx. 2:15pm at Brooklyn. \nFrom Americas Bay we will cruise to our Club mooring at Spencer the next day. \nAt Spencer we will have dinner at the local Thai restaurant at a prebooked table at 6:30pm. \nYou need to prebook your dinner by calling 0401775959. \nThe menu can be found here  https://www.facebook.com/spencerthai \nPlease mention that you are with the BWMYC. \nFrom Spencer the convoy will head to Joe Crafts Bay for the remaining two days of the easter weekend. \nOriginally the Committee thought of visiting all of our Club mooring during this trip. \nUnfortunately\, the tides are not allowing us to get into Mullet Creek. \nWe will include Mullet Creek at another Club event in the near future. \nWe hope many of you will come along and enjoy the club cruise with us this year. \nJust follow the leading boat and enjoy the scenery. \n  \nItinerary: \nFriday April 2 \nAssembly point Joe Crafts Bay \nConvoy leaves at 1:30 pm with outgoing tide \nDestination Americas Bay Club mooring. \nRaft up \n  \nSaturday April 3 \nConvoy leaves at 11 am to take advantage of the incoming tide \nDestination Spencer club mooring Raft up Dinner at Thai restaurant at 6:30pm \n  \nSunday April 4 \nConvoy leaves at approx. 3 pm. \nDestination Joe Crafts Bay Club mooring. \nBYO BBQ ashore at some time. DESCRIPTION:This SATURDAY\, dingy rally to Calabash Creek. \nThe tides are perfect for heading up Calabash Creek by dingy for a shaded bbq lunch and maybe a dip in the Crystal clear swimming hole with high tide around 2pm. \nThis is a pristine and secluded destination right on our doorstep which is easily accessible\, it should be more spectacular now following on from recent rains. \nThe plan is to gather near the marina west side in your dinghy for around a 12 midday set off. \nFrom there we’ll go in a convoy to our destination. \nMake sure you have life jackets etc as RMS have been pretty hot on this lately. \nWhat to bring; this is pretty casual so a picnic set\, food drinks\, blanket or chairs\, umbrella or whatever you’re comfortable with\, the Club will provide a gas bbq for anyone wanting to cook up lunch. \nAll members and guests welcome and we look forward to seeing you all!
